Since wrapping up our first project, the team has had many discussions on the direction of the company and who we should be working with next. Of course it helps having an OCAD student (Paddy not Patrick Leung) on the team to network with other aspiring artists from Toronto. Of all the artists she had contact with one stepped up big time and really pulled through with a proposal that we all thought was pretty dope. Upon discussing the proposal we all agreed that we’ve found our next project. So late last week all of us met up with the artist to layout plans for this upcoming project.

Introducing ENLEME. ENLEME is a graduate from OCAD. While majoring in Illustration Designs, ENLEME became fascinated with toys after taking a business course taught by Steve Cober (owner of Magic Pony). And during his 4th year of study ENLEME began designing and making his own line of toys which was featured in his Grad show and later in another Gallery show.

Citing inspiration from Michael Lau, KAWS, Ron English and various other established artists. ENLEME’s work features a healthy dose of bright colours to go along with his simple yet distinguishable designs. Which makes his work very eye catching and it’s definitely something to look for in a designer toy. Having said that we look forward to working with ENLEME. We already have the design of the toy finished, but that’s for another post. So stay tuned for more. Remember, you can keep up with us on Twitter or subscribe to our RSS feed or just keep coming back the site for future updates.
